On Target Project Management
We believe that project management should meld personalities, be accountable and meet deadlines. We believe that every project manager should keep you on track. The way we meld personalities, maintain accountability and meet your deadlines is by employing a project management system the fosters open communications and a clear delegation of tasks. With open communications and a clear delegation of tasks we change the serious somber presence of most project managers and replace it with a serious encouraging presence.
When key managers are encouraging and communicate serious expectations that allow team members to let their guard down good things happen. When a team member has lowered their guard several positives occur; for example that team member might be more willing to throw out a red flag in a meeting because they trust that they will not be ridiculed if it turns out to be simple. Others will act accordingly because “SAFE” open communications fosters more of the same.
A project that is completed on time does not mean that the initial due dates were kept. What it means is that dealing with unseen needed changes or delays cause the due date to be extended. It is the project managers job to make sure that tasks are not being delayed because they are not being given any attention by the assigned person.
This is a commitment that we take seriously. Although a serious commitment and a approach can still create a fun and productive team environment.
